Brittney Cecilia Gutin was born in Miami, Florida and grew up on Amelia Island, Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida on a full Bright Future’s Scholarship and a Minority Scholarship from the Rayonier Foundation, where she graduated in 2007 with University Honors. Brittney Gutin then obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida International University in Miami, Florida in 2010.
